The Jeremy Brooks Memorial Golf Tournament

Jeremy Brooks was the owner of Brooks Painting, a Davis Chamber member since 2002 and a long-time annual sponsor, board member, and one of our past presidents. This tournament carries his name in his honor.

To his many friends, Jeremy was an avid golfer who was always up for fun. To his family, he was their rock: he and his wife Kelly raised three wonderful children, and he poured himself into advocating for our local school district and youth sports. To the business community, he was a staunch supporter of small business, never one to back away when things got tough and always ready to stand up for local businesses.

To honor his commitment to the Chamber and our business community, the Board of Directors, with the blessing of Kelly Brooks, renamed our charity golf tournament in his honor. He loved golf, and through Brooks Painting's annual sponsorship he supported our scholarship and small-business grant programs year after year. Every round played in his name continues that legacy.

Proceeds from the tournament go directly to the Foundation's Scholarship Fund and Small Business Grant Program, turning a great day of golf into real support for Davis students and local businesses. It is held each April at Wildhorse Golf Club in Davis, and the 4th annual tournament tees off in April 2027.
